How to solve Remote desktop disconnected: No remote desktop client access licenses available to this computer issue?
To connect to a remote computer, that computer must be
turned on, it must have a network connection, Remote Desktop must be enabled,
you must have network access to the remote computer (this could be through the
Internet), and you must have permission to connect. For permission to connect,
you must be on the list of users. Before you start a connection, it's a good
idea to look up the name of the computer you're connecting to and to make sure
Remote Desktop connections are allowed through its firewall.
This error is caused by the terminal server to locate the
RDP license and thus preventing you from connecting remotely.
This can be solved by a registry edit. Please make sure you
have backed up the registry before doing any sort of registry edits otherwise
your computer may stop working
1 Press windows key + R to get the run menu , type
REGEDIT and press enter to open the
registry editor
2. In the registry editor, go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSLicensing
3.Right click on the MSLicensing key and export it ,
it will help you to restore the key incase
an problems happen
4. Right click on the MSLicensing and delete the key
5. After deleting the key either Restart the RDP service or Restart
the PC
6. after restarting the pc press Windows key + R and then
type mstsc /admin
This will solve the issue of No remote desktop client access licenses
available
