Cisco VPN Client not Working in Windows 10.

How to install and use Cisco VPN in Windows 10 PC?

Most of IT admins around the world have faced this issue after the release of Windows 10. Please go through the below steps to use Cisco VPN Client on Windows 10 PC.

Mostly After installing Windows 10 upgrade Cisco VPN  is  uninstalled automatically by the OS itself  , If it's not removed you should  Uninstall Cisco VPN from your Windows 10 PC.

After uninstalling Cisco VPN adapter  RESTART YOUR PC

Then  Download and Install Sonicwall VPN Client .Links for the Sonicwall VPN client is given below.

32 BIT         or               64 BIT 

Restart your system after installation. Then download Cisco VPN Client from below link.

                 32 BIT        or             64 BIT                       

After installing Cisco VPN client Open registry edit by typing  REGEDIT in Run and then go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-SYSTEM-CurrentControlSet-Services-CVirtA

Select Display Name key and modify with the below value

x86 – “@oem8.ifn,%CVirtA_Desc%;Cisco Systems VPN Adapter” to “Cisco Systems VPN Adapter”

x64 – “@oem8.ifn,%CVirtA_Desc%;Cisco Systems VPN Adapter for 64-bit Windows” to “Cisco Systems VPN Adapter for 64-bit Windows”
